Temporary Foundation Phase TEACHING ASSISTANT
GRADE 3 – SALARY POINTS 3-6
£18,562 - £19,698
Pro rata 39 weeks term time only
32.5 hours per week (to include a lunchtime duty)
Required for September, 2021

The Head teacher and Governing Body of Llysfaen Primary School are
looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is
committed to children’s learning and wellbeing.
Required from September 2021 a friendly, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work as part of a dedicated team assisting teachers and giving general and specific support to the children. Experience of working with Primary age children and areas of interest/expertise should be stated in your application. An NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification is desirable. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships with children, staff and parents.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
