The post is temporary to cover the maternity of the permanent post holder and will continue until 31st August 2022, or the resumption/resignation of the permanent post holder, whichever is soonest. The Governing Body reserves the right to prematurely end your employment (or to withdraw the offer of appointment if your commencement date has not passed), where circumstances determine it necessary to do so
Marlborough Primary School is a vibrant and multi-cultural school with currently 520+ pupils on roll. An opportunity has arisen for the school to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic, up-beat and self-motivated individual. Above all, they will be able to bring enthusiasm and an appetite to embrace exciting curriculum challenges and opportunities. The post is a temporary, full time maternity cover post possibly for 1 year. The successful candidate will be teaching in a Reception class.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled teacher committed to continuous professional development, have experience of teaching in a primary school and have high expectations for pupils. He/She will be able to demonstrate:-
• Excellent relationships with pupils and clear evidence of listening and acting on pupil voice.
• Excellent skills in assessment for learning, target setting and self-evaluation of their practice.
• Highly developed levels of emotional intelligence
