The Governors of Pentyrch Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Grade 5 Senior Teaching Assistant to join our team this autumn. This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly motivated team and to contribute towards an exciting future for our pupils, it is essential that you will have previous experience in a school background.
Pentyrch Primary School have committed to work in collaboration with Llanishen Fach Primary School over the next 5 years to further the progression and development of both schools during an exciting period of curriculum changes and two substantial building projects. Pentyrch Primary School and Llanishen Fach Primary School have a combined 650 pupils on roll ranging from age 4 to 11 years, Llanishen Fach Primary School also supports 20 children (which will increase on completion of building works to 35) severe and complex learning needs. We pride ourselves on our positive, inclusive and welcoming ethos. With new housing planned for North-West Cardiff, plans are in place to expand Pentyrch Primary School to increase the existing capacity of the school to 210 by September 2023. The age range of the school will also be extended from 4-11 to 3-11 by establishing nursery provision to allow for 32 part-time places.
