Temporary Teacher of English
Y Pant is an over-subscribed school with an outstanding reputation for academic success and for fulfilling all pupils’ potential. In the 2017 Estyn Inspection report the school received “excellent” in all five of the new inspection areas.
In January 2017 we made the enviable transition of moving into a brand new building with state of the art facilities throughout. Teaching here means you will benefit from an environment that includes a fantastic performance hall, C Touch screens in every classroom and a purpose built lecture theatre.
The department consists of a team of 9 specialist teachers who teach in a dedicated area of the school. The department is supported by a learning resource centre with a full time librarian and has very healthy numbers studying at both year 12 and 13.
Setting aside the high standards of accommodation and academic success you will find the school to be a welcoming and exciting place to work. Staff are supportive, nurturing and forward thinking, whilst our pupils are well behaved, engaged and keen to succeed. As a Pioneer school you can be certain of excellent CPD to ensure you reach your potential.
