Therefore, we are seeking to recruit an inspiring, highly-committed and outstanding practitioner to join our successful English department for a period of maternity cover. We require a well-qualified, highly-motivated and inspirational English Teacher. You will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner, able to quickly establish routines and high expectations with students across the key stages.
Following the challenges of the previous 18 months, the successful candidate will join the English team at a time with great potential in front of them. At present, the English Department has twelve members of staff, including a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The team has an unwavering focus on high quality teaching and a commitment to ensuring that every Rednock student achieves their full potential. The department is well established with clear units of study which provide our students with a love of learning as well as preparing them for their examinations following the AQA specifications of GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature and A-Level English Literature. As part of our continued commitment to high standards for our students, and ourselves, the successful candidate will be joining a collaborative and motivated team.
Rednock School is a rural 11-18 comprehensive, with excellent road links and spectacular views over rolling hills. The last two Ofsted inspections confirmed that Rednock School is consistently a ‘good’ school. We offer excellent CPD for all staff, as well as a bespoke induction programme for new staff. The post is fixed term maternity cover. We are looking for a person able to start in January 2022. The closing date for this position is 8:00am Wednesday 6th October 2021. Interviews will be held week commencing 18th October.
