Temporary Teaching Assistant :
19.5 hours per week (3 days per week), 39 weeks per year
Level 2 Grade 4
The Governing Body wish to appoint a pro-active, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, with a commitment to inclusive learning. The post will be a temporary position until 31st March 2022. An ability to contribute to the warm, caring, inclusive ethos of the school is essential. The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of activities and work well as part of a dedicated team.
The successful applicant will provide support for learning across the whole school. The appointment will be subject to suitably qualified candidates with a sound knowledge and experience of Literacy and Numeracy intervention programmes, NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education, NNEB or equivalent qualifications.
All School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) to comply with Education (Wales) Act 2014.
