Temporary Teaching Assistant

Grade 3 Scale point 3 – 6 £18,887 - £20,043
(pro rata FTE) 39 week
31.5 hours per week

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to work under the direction of teachers to support a Reception child with communication and interaction difficulties.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £9.79 per hour (scp 1&2). This supplement will be reviewed in April 2022 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
