Role: Trainee Teaching Assistant (Kickstart)
Contract: 25 hours per week, 38 weeks of the year (term time only) 8.30am - 13.30pm
Salary: National Minimum Wage, dependant on age
Location: Bexley and Kent
We are currently seeking to appoint candidates through the Kickstart scheme who are interested into getting into a career in Primary Education.
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will learn the skills needed to support the needs of pupils within the school to learn, develop and grow.
You will learn key skills such as:
- Time management
- Adaptability and Flexibility
- Delivering and agreed work plan
- Being creative
- Using technology to support learning
- Using your initiative
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children in their learning. As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will need to have a passion for education, determination to help those who need a little extra support and have qualifications in Maths and English.
Woodland Academy Trust was formed in September 2011 and consists of four primary schools, three of which are located in the London Borough of Bexley and one in Kent, with a further primary free school currently under construction.
