Trainer Assessor Brick / Multi-Skilled in Construction. Full Time. Permanent. £29,921 pa to £31,758 pa (including market supplement)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Trainer Assessor, who is able to lead and motivate our students to achieve high levels of success, to be the best they can be.
Working with state-of-the-art facilities, you will be part of a strong team delivering practical training and managing assessments in line with awarding organisation guidelines, primarily in the Brick section. You will work flexibly to deliver high-quality practical learning and assessments to a range of students predominantly aged 16-19 years.
You will have a core knowledge of the bricklaying industry and be able to deliver training and assessment in College, providing students with a wide range of skills and knowledge relevant to their main programme of study and the latest industrial qualifications. Key responsibilities also include: maintenance of equipment and plant, driving the forklift truck, procurement of goods and undertaking area risk assessments.
You should ideally hold a relevant Brick Level 3 qualification although consideration will be given to applicants who hold a relevant Brick Level 2 qualification who can demonstrate appropriate industrial experience and a desire to develop. An Assessing qualification, previous experience of working in a training environment, and working with young people is
desirable but not essential as support will be available.
