Trainer Assessor in Travel and Tourism (Internal). Part Time (18.5 hours to be worked over 2.5 days per week). Term Time only (40 weeks per year). Permanent.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Trainer Assessor to support our students with practical assessments, workshops and employability skills within our Business and Travel & Tourism department. Based at our Abbey Park Campus, you will join a professional team dedicated to student success and progression. Vocational experience in at least one of the subject specialisms above is essential.
You will be willing to explore new and innovative ways of assessing and have a strong focus on teamwork, communication and continual improvement. Experience of assessing and / or holding assessor qualifications would be an advantage to this role.
The successful applicant will be educated to a minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent) along with a minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject. If you hold an initial teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent) this would be an advantage.
