We are look for a highly skilled and experienced potter to join our talented team to teach the very popular and well-established evening classes in the Creative Industries Department of the Arts. The evening classes run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 6-9pm, 10 weeks per term.
We benefit from outstanding art studios and facilities which includes a very large ceramics room with throwing wheels, workbenches, spraying booths and kilns located adjacently.
You need to have experience of teaching and knowledge of throwing, coiling and slab making techniques as well as slipware. You need to be able to competently operate kilns and have a good understanding of firing and glazing earthenware, stoneware and porcelain.
