Can you raise the bar of educational excellence in a challenging, fast-moving environment?
At Loughborough College, students are at the heart of our unique and highly ambitious organisation.
We inspire all of our learners, from the next pioneering generation of space engineers to future sporting icons, to create a diverse and ambitious workforce of the future.
Our talented teams provide high quality teaching and we demand high standards in all that we do across college, and our Vice Principal of Curriculum and Quality will help us raise the bar even higher.
After three successive years of growth, we are now driving forward with our exciting plans to enhance the quality and standards of learning at Loughborough College.
We are a financially robust, £33m-turnover organisation with inclusive values and a supportive culture which means we invest in our people to deliver excellence for around 10,000 learners.
Our reputation is built on a solid track record of success including TEF (Teaching Excellence Framework) Gold, Ofsted ‘outstanding’-rated apprenticeships and overall ‘good’ rating, a number one-ranked students’ union, plus 94% of our students progress into work, higher education or training.
We have strong roots in the communities we serve and an excellent partnership with Loughborough University, where our learners have the opportunity to stand on the shoulders of sporting legends who have passed through our Elite Sports Academy.
Who we are looking for
We need someone who can match our ambition, pace, energy and passion for learning to support our students to surpass their expectations and achieve excellent progression routes to university, apprenticeships and work.
We need a dynamic, driven and experienced educational leader and an excellent practitioner with a track record of delivering impactful programmes for students at all levels.
Our new Vice Principal will be a key member of our Executive Team and will play a crucial leadership role in delivering our future teaching and learning strategy, working closely with our talented Curriculum Leadership team.
You will operate across the college, taking responsibility for all aspects of the learner journey and improving student outcomes at every level, as well as having the ability to adapt quickly to changing agendas and new initiatives in this post-Covid world.
Most importantly, you will put learners at the heart of your decision-making, inspiring students and staff to achieve their full potential.
If this sounds like you and you are interested in joining our team and being part of our exciting journey, please go to Loughborough College website to visit our microsite and discover more about Loughborough College.
