We are currently seeking an experienced Welfare Adviser to work proactively with our students and to support them with a range of welfare issues and support mechanisms.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, organised and broker access to a range of specialist services to reduce barriers to learning and to enable students to successfully complete their programmes. You will need to be focussed on high quality outcomes for students in all aspects of this work and to work closely within an advisory capacity with staff and external partners. Your relationship building skills and awareness of at risk measures will ensure that you are successful in this vital and important student facing role.
It is essential that the applicant has a high standard of IT and problem solving skills as well as excellent attention to detail. You must also have strong written, excellent communication and time management skills and an excellent working knowledge of learning support funding.
Experience of working in a Welfare related role is essential.
