Welfare Assistant. Student Services. Part Time (18.5 hours). Permanent.
This is an opportunity to work with Leicester College as part of our Welfare team. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to deliver a front line service providing Information, Advice and Guidance in relation to welfare support. You will receive and process Learner Support Fund Applications submitted by students applying for financial support.
You will be educated to Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). You will also have excellent IT skills and effective communication skills. It would be beneficial but not essential that you have knowledge and understanding of the welfare benefit system. Experience of working with people within an advisory context, including enquiry handling and resolution is an essential.
