Salary: Grade 6
£22,462 - £24,799 pro rata
. Actual salary £18,999 but depends on current grade and long service
Hours: 37 hours per week
(Term time plus 2 days)
Contract: Permanent and to start September 2019
Pearson Primary School are seeking to appoint a Wellbeing Officer who is passionate about supporting children and families from diverse backgrounds.
We are looking for someone who:
Is dedicated, self-motivated and caring, who can demonstrate a high level of professionalism when working with our families and other agencies
Who can demonstrate and maintain a calm and confident approach in difficult situations
Has the relevant experience of working with vulnerable families, promoting and managing attendance
Has excellent communication skills and is able to prioritise work and work flexibly
Must have a sound knowledge of the available support services and referral routes available to parents and carers and have relevant experience of making referrals
Has a robust knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Has excellent organisational skills and can confidently prepare reports, case notes and complete any administration needed to support this role
Will tailor programmes appropriate to pupil need, co-ordinating and managing structured programmes
