- Flourish in Life
Require a Teacher of Welsh (MPS) - From September 2020 - Permanent
We are looking for a truly outstanding Welsh teacher to fill a vacancy in our highly successful Welsh Department. The school is two years into our brand new, state of the art building and is rapidly expanding in terms of pupil numbers. Although designated an 11 - 16 school, we share our new building with Cardiff & Vale College who provide Post 16 provision up to 19 yrs old. It is anticipated that in time we will deliver much of the ‘A’ Level provision taking place on site also.
This is certainly an exciting time in our development as a school as the Welsh Department develops a new curriculum in line with the new curriculum for Wales. With 91% of our teachers, in a recent independent survey, stating that they would recommend Eastern High as a good place to work, we believe we do well when it comes to looking after staff wellbeing. Our staff are practitioners who bring energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to improving the life chances of young people and ensuring we achieve Our single aim, which is to enable our students to flourish in life.
