Greenfield E-ACT Academy have a new vacancy for a year 1 maternity cover teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated and friendly staffing team from the 22nd March or at the earliest opportunity. The post will cover a maternity leave that is due to start on the 22nd March, however you will work in collaboration with the class teacher until she goes on her actual leave in June. The contract will end once the post holder decides to return to work.

CONTRACT: Maternity Cover - Full time of 32.5 hours per week
Your new role
Your new job will be to provide maternity cover in a year 1 class from Monday 22nd March and run until the post holder decides to return to work. This is a full time job and a full teacher role, meaning that you will be doing the planning for the class, the marking and attending staff meetings. Please note that Key Stage 1 experience is preferred, however Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.

- You must hold qualified teaching status
- An outstanding teacher with an excellent understanding of Primary provision;
- An individual with experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably year 1) either in your current role or in your teaching practice;

- A creative teacher who is experienced in curriculum innovation and development;
- An ambitious teacher who is committed to professional development.
