Westfield is a friendly, exciting and stimulating place to learn and through our strong sense of community, we ensure that all children feel safe and nurtured. Above all we want our children to have a variety of experiences during their time with us, to be willing to try new things without fear of failure and to become independent and confident young people. Westfield Junior School provides a high standard of education for pupils in the 7 – 11 age range.

The school was built in the 1930’s as a boys secondary modern school. We therefore benefit from larger than average classrooms, a swimming pool, gymnasium, assembly hall, children’s kitchen for cookery, second large hall, dining hall and computer suite. We are set in spacious grounds with two hard play grounds with a ball wall and an extensive playing field
