Inglehurst Junior School is situated in North West Leicester. Its aim is “Living together, learning together and laughing together.”

We are a school of just over 300 children aged between 7 and 11 years. We embrace the diverse population within the local community and we have high expectations for every person in our school community. Each individual has an important contribution to make to the success of the school. At our last inspection in July 2013 Ofsted judged us to be a good school with some outstanding features. We are now looking forward with enthusiasm to working with a new Headteacher who will aspire to lead the school forward to Outstanding. Inglehurst prides itself in being an emotionally intelligent and happy place to learn and work, where everyone is valued and challenged.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:
1. Must have had headship experience and inspirational leadership skills to move our school forward
in our aims.
2. Is fair and kind to both children and staff.
3. works well under pressure.
4. Is good at communication, especially listening.
5. Able to deal with difficult situations.
6. Gets involved with the day to day running and is good at delegation.
7. Must satisfy criteria as set out in the person specification.

You will be leading dedicated, hard-working staff and will be supported by an experienced and committed
