School meals are a really important part of the learning experience at Wallscourt Farm, with a family dining style approach, a community café and children developing an understanding of and a connection with the food they are eating. There is no need to have previous experience working in schools- just bring an excitement for seeing food as part of the learning experience, and a genuine interest in learning alongside children. We are looking for lunchtime leaders/ school meals assistants who will bring their positive energy and enthusiasm to the team at Wallscourt Farm and support the Cabot Learning Federation in their aim of creating a community school this new area can be proud of now and in the future. There will be learning within and beyond the community and we will be looking for candidates who are willing to support in the development of the school at the heart of the community- this may include feeding the chickens and coming along to events to celebrate as a community! Part of this role could also include some additional hours supporting with either a breakfast club or an afterschool club, or both, and we hope this will therefore be appealing to people who are keen to extend their working hours and gain further experience working within a Primary School setting.
