Braunstone Community Primary School are looking to recruit dynamic Assistant Headteacher, leading the pastoral, welfare and behaviour systems, with enthusiasm to help drive this school in its journey to excellence. You will support the Headteacher in providing professional leadership for the school that secures its success and improvement, ensuring high quality education for all students and improved standards of learning and achievement. You will play a major role under the overall direction of the Headteacher in;• Formulating the aims and objectives of the school,• Establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved,• Managing staff and resources to that end, • Monitoring progress towards their achievement;• Manage and review the school pastoral and support systems.Principle duties will involve leading and reviewing the School’s Behaviour Policy, and lead and model strategies for behaviour for learning across the school, providing training, mentoring and coaching for other staff as required, including induction, in consultation with SLT. Effectively leading and managing all staff in pastoral and behaviour management issues.Closing date for applications: Tuesday 24th October 2017Interview date: Friday 27th October 2017Start date: 8th January 2018
