Learning without Limits Academy Trust is looking to appoint an experienced Business Manager to be based at Babington Academy.Learning without Limits Academy Trust is a new trust led by Babington Academy, an outstanding secondary school in Leicester. We have high ambitions to transform the education landscape in Leicester and beyond and our mission statement, ‘I grow, I thrive, I am visible’, encapsulates this and applies to over 3000 children for whom we are currently collectively responsible and to all staff working within the trust.The Business Manager will provide professional leadership and management in the development, provision and operation of all financial, administrative, facilities and support aspects within the Academy, and a member of the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will:-• Provide effective leadership for the support staff teams• Have at least three years’ experience within finance and budget management• Have proven experience of managing an office function dealing effectively with others, either face to face, written or on the telephone• Be exceptionally organised and efficient, with attention to detail• Have a positive and flexible approach, whilst being highly motivated, enthusiastic and analytical• Ensure the sustainability of the Academy’s future, through appropriate financial control, and ensuring the educational goals of the Academy are met • Ensure the development of policies, systems and procedures• Manage contracts from development to closure• Oversee the efficient management and maintenance of the school site, including Health and Safety• Oversee the project management and development of the school estates• Oversee the management of the IT network and Estate teams, ensuring they are developed to meet service requirementsIf you would like to arrange a visit, please contact us on 0116 222-1616.Closing date 24th October 2017Interviews will be held on 30th October 2017
