Leicester Education Strategic Partnership – Chairperson

The Leicester Education Strategic Partnership (LESP) is changing to become a more dynamic, outward looking and influential partnership, locally and regionally.

The Chair will play an important role in making this happen.

Acting as the figurehead you will drive the Vision and Goals of the LESP - improving lives, releasing potential and transforming communities. You will promote the aspirational ambition for Leicester to become a UNESCO Learning City.

You will lead the strategic direction and activities of the Partnership enabling it to meet its purpose through pragmatism, diplomacy and energy. You will empower all sectors to become more actively involved, growing the partnership and extending its influence through open and forthright discussion and by encouraging all members to have an equal voice.

Time Commitment: An estimated commitment of a minimum of 2 days per month with flexibility.

Length of Contract: Up to 2 years.

Remuneration: On a per day rate, inclusive of travel and expenses. The role is not inside of IR35

Closing Date: 25 August 2017 – 5pm
