Candidates should have the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies to inspire, motivate and encourage children to want to learn music. As a Music teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons, monitoring and evaluating student achievement and contributing to the accomplishment of the school’s vision and mission. As a successful candidate, you will be an outstanding role model within the Primary School and the school as a whole. You will have: 1. An ambitious vision for musical engagement and excellence 2. A keen interest in further developing our musical extra-curricular opportunities3. Detailed knowledge of the British Music Curriculum is essential as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards and quality 4. A growth mindset and an interest in developing high performance learning skills. 5. The ability to enhance musical creativity, imagination, interest and most importantly, enjoyment, in all children. 6. Qualifications such as a B.Ed. or PGCE, with specialism in Music or equivalent as well as experience of teaching Music in the UK or a British international school abroad.This is a high profile British international school.
