City Academy is a forward thinking Academy based in East Bristol. City Academy provides education to 680 students Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. The students at City Academy are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community. They benefit from a hugely positive and supporting learning environment.

City Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF). The CLF is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. The CLF currently sponsors 14 academies, eight of which are secondary, five are primary and one is a studio school catering for students aged 14 to 19.

In this role you will work along side the Head Chef providing high quality provision of catering services for students/staff and visitors to the City Academy. Your duties will specifically include:-

• To assist in the smooth operation of the catering facilities on a daily basis
• Assist the Head Chef with the commercial catering and develop this area.
• Menu Planning and costings
• Ordering/Stocktaking
• To take control in the Head Chefs absence

You will be City & Guilds 706-1 706-1 or NVQ 1 & 2 qualified. You will be a highly committed professional with a high level of emotional intelligence, and keen to create something unique and move beyond expectations in learning for life. You will share our passion to deliver an outstanding student experience and have the ability to deliver outstanding results. You will be an excellent communicator. You will be innovative, creative and flexible in your approach to achieve the best results.
