Boundary Oak School is an IAPS co-educational day and boarding school set in 30 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside outside Fareham, very close to Portsmouth and Southampton. It provides a friendly, family environment in a place rich in history, character and charm. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a highly successful and expanding school. Our aim is to value and treat each pupil as an individual within a family community and to support differing needs whilst fostering an enjoyment of learning and promoting a growth mindset. Our pupils are courteous, hard working and very well behaved. The role is for a part-time, 2 year fixed contract, GCSE Psychology teacher. The role would require 4 hours of teaching per week in the first year, and potentially more in the second year should enough pupils select it as an option the following year, which would also increase the length of the contract. The ability to teach another subject at Key Stage 3, PE or English in particular, would be very desirable and would increase the hours required. Likewise, as a boarding school, candidates willing to perform a boarding duty (supervisory role from 5.30-9.30 pm) would also be viewed very favourably.Lunch is provided free of charge. Please see Job Description attached for more information.Closing date: 26th February 2018If you are interested in applying for this role, simply click on the "How to apply" button to sign in and download an application form.Boundary Oak is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects its staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
