Overview

Raynes Park High School is a mixed, vibrant, comprehensive school with a successful Sixth Form. We have a rich history, clear identity and very strong community. We are proud to be a local authority community comprehensive school, with a diverse student body from a range of backgrounds, cultures and abilities.  We pride ourselves on the positive relationships that exist in the school and the happy environment in which we work. Visitors often comment on this, but we never take it for granted.

The school was awarded a 'Good' rating in every category of the October 2015 Ofsted report. Special note was made of the progress that students make in both English and maths and the fact that their performance continues to improve on previous years. The report also cites the school as being a “peaceful and harmonious community”. We hold high expectations of all our students in every respect. We aspire to provide students with an outstanding learning experience each and every day. Every decision that we make is centred on their learning and achievement as we seek to enable each one to meet and exceed their potential.

Our incredibly dedicated and talented staff never give up on a student. We have an outstanding pastoral system, which is focused on ensuring that our students succeed and leave us as confident, articulate and aspirational young adults. The success of our school is based on a partnership of integrity and mutual respect. A key factor in achieving this is working closely with parents, enabling students to progress and develop in all aspects of their lives – personal, academic, creative and sporting.
