Pelham is a very successful two form entry school, where children are at the heart of all we do. At Pelham we aim to create a secure, caring and stimulating learning environment in which everyone can develop his or her aptitudes and abilities to the full. To this end, we share a commitment to achieving the highest possible academic standards alongside the development of children as confident, caring and responsible citizens.

The school caters for children from the age of 3 to 11. Our Nursery was opened in 1987 and is linked to the main school. It has its own separate entrance, cloakrooms and staff facilities and also its own attractive Nursery garden. The children also use the main school facilities, visiting the library and school hall and participating in special assemblies. Pelham serves an ethnically rich and diverse local community.

We are an inclusive school where diversity is valued. We believe that children learn best when they are secure, inspired and happy. Pelham is a caring school and the children are taught to respect and care for each other and the environment.
