Overview

All Saints Church of England School, Carshalton is a very happy, high achieving school where we aim to create an environment which gives children security, confidence, success and stability. Our ethos is rooted in the nine Christian values: Faith, Love, Hope, Forgiveness, Trust, Friendship, Respect, Peace and Courage. We accept children for who they are and help and support them to develop their personal confidence. This is achieved by ensuring that they use their skills to as high a level as possible in an atmosphere which encourages them to know themselves and accept each other as individuals.

Our aim is to promote spirituality, success and build self-esteem. We help all children develop lively enquiring minds, good personal relationships and the knowledge and skills to equip them for the future and the ever changing world in which we live. In order to successfully achieve this we encourage self-discipline and tolerance for others. We value the strong partnership we have with parents and work hard to maintain it. We believe that parents are instrumental in their children's development.

We have a strong and committed team of staff at All Saints. They provide a wealth of learning experiences within an exciting and stimulating environment. Such opportunities enable the children to acquire and develop the skills to choose and discriminate, to reflect and predict and to analyse and describe the world around them. They are also happy, enthusiastic and open individuals who are a delight to teach.

About Us

The school was built in 1969 with originally six classrooms and 160 children. Today, currently with 14 classrooms, although expanding to become fully 2 form of entry by 2018, the school takes 60 children into the main school and 52 part-time into the nursery. The school is situated in a residential area just off of Carshalton Village High Street.

In addition to the classes, the school has a library and there are smaller rooms for group work and SEN support. The school hall is equipped with a range of PE apparatus, movable staging and lighting facilities. It is also used as a dining area. The attractive school grounds incorporate five playground areas with playground markings, a trim trail for juniors and climbing equipment for the nursery and infant children, a vegetable garden and a quiet area.
