We wish to appoint a teaching assistant who :-
• Understands children’s learning needs.
• Will be able to support special needs pupils in the classroom and working with small groups.
• Can help children new to English.
• Has a GCSE in English & Maths (grade A*-C equivalent) or Literacy (Level 2) and Numeracy (Level 2).

The role is temporary to support a child with special needs.

The temporary contract will be for 15 hours/week for term time (38 weeks) and 5 days during the holidays (inset days). This post is 34% of a full-time contract.

Salary:- Local Government Pay Scale Band 3, point range 11-14.
The actual salary for this post is £5,843-£6,188 per annum depending on experience.
