Overview

Abbotsbury is set in extensive grounds that provide plenty of space for children to do sports, play, and use the outside area to support the curriculum.

Abbotsbury opened in 1970 and following reorganisation in September 2002 the school will become a two form entry school catering for children aged 3-11 years. When full, the school will have 420 pupils. New building will provide excellent facilities including classrooms, an ICT suite, a studio, library and a multi-purpose practical area.

The school has a well established community that has a strong, supportive atmosphere where emphasis is put on each individual achieving their full potential. The Governors and staff are committed to the success of this new all through Primary School and we are confident that the strengths of the current school will provide a sound basis on which to build.
