Welcome to All Saints' CE Primary School

On behalf of the whole school, I warmly welcome you to the All Saints’ website. Whether you are an existing member of the school community or a prospective parent or pupil, we hope you will be able to find all the information you need among our pages. But, even more importantly, we hope that the website gives you a flavour of, and insight into, our happy, caring and inclusive community.

All Saints’ is a thriving place of learning where enthusiastic and hard-working pupils, staff, governors and parents work together to make it successful and forward-looking. At the heart of the community, served by All Saints’ Church and its vicar Daniel Trott, All Saints’ School lives and breathes Christian values.

We are committed to enabling all children to reach their potential in all aspects of school life; able to meet, and be inspired by, the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century in a happy, secure and stimulating environment.

We continually strive to develop and improve in all we do. I am proud and privileged to lead this outstanding school.

If, after visiting our website, you wish to find out more about our school, please do not hesitate to make an appointment with me to arrange a tour. I am sure that you will see for yourself why we are so proud of our children and our school.

About Us

R4.jpg

All Saints’ has an ecumenical Nursery which is able to take up to 26 children in each session (morning 8.45 - 11.45 afternoon 12.45 - 3.45). We serve two schools; one third of the places are allocated to children from Our Lady of Victories and two thirds are allocated to children from All Saints’. Children join the Nursery for the year before Reception, in the September, or January, after their third birthday. Places at the Nursery do not guarantee a school place, as the admissions criteria are different.

Each class from Reception to Year 6 has the capacity to take 30 children.

The children from Reception to Year 6 are taught by the class teacher and varying levels of additional support from our team of learning support staff, based on the needs of the class. Our Nursery and Reception classes benefit from fulltime Early Years trained support.

All Classes are mixed ability and all lessons are differentiated at least 3 ways according to ability.

Teaching and learning is split into 3 key phases, Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception), Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6).

The focus within each phase is the same: to ensure that our children achieve their potential by learning within an exciting, challenging, caring environment. The curriculum is taught through a mixture of cross-curricular topics and discrete lessons to ensure that specific skills are taught. French and Music lessons are taught by subject specialists.

Vision and Values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to leave All Saints’ as confident, happy citizens. Our school motto is Rooted in Faith, Growing Through Learning which reflects our Christian values and our determination that we all will grow throughout our years at the school.
