Aragon Primary School is a popular three-form entry school set in spacious grounds in the London Borough of Merton.

The school believes that all children, whatever their abilities, strengths and weaknesses should be given the same opportunities, support and encouragement to learn and develop academically and spiritually in a secure, loving and disciplined atmosphere.

The school was inspected by OFSTED in March 2017 and was judged to be good with inspectors recognising pupil behaviour and their courtesy and respect for others as well as the high quality of pupil art on display.

The school encourages children to have high expectations of their achievements, to be confident of their individuality, to be able to share their experiences with others and to respect different beliefs. The school believes in a broad curriculum, emphasising the creative arts as well as the “three Rs” thus giving every child a chance to shine and excel.

From September 2018 the school has been designated a Primary SCITT offering teacher training to teachers in the primary sector.
