About Us

We care

We care about every child and foster this caring attitude in all that we do. All staff and children model a caring attitude and behaviour to one another, we teach children to care about themselves, peers and all others in the world around them.

We learn

We want every child learning to their potential, ensuring all have the key skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and maths in place when they leave primary school. This is enriched with learning in all the national curriculum subjects, through special events, visits and visitors. We help children to discover their passions and skills in whatever areas they personally excel. We want children to succeed in their education so that they have the chance to make the best choices for their lifelong learning and future. The teaching and learning experiences come from the Early Learning Goals and National Curriculum for Primary Schools.

We shine

We want children to shine, every child is unique and we nurture this to allow them to shine and enjoy each day of school so that they live rich and full lives. We celebrate and recognise when children have made personal, class and school achievements. We expect children to take on responsibilities and have many special opportunities; we want each and every day to be important to their whole development.  We are active within our local community, supporting events and demonstrating care and respect.

We work in partnership with parents, through mutual valuing and respect, to support each child in their educational journey. We expect every parent to be fully involved in the life of the school and play their part in supporting the school and it's aims.

This website is full of useful information but if you would like to know something that isn't contained within it, please contact the school via telephone or email.
