Ashford Church of England School is a two-form primary school in the parish of St Matthew’s and St Hilda’s. At Ashford we encourage our children to reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive Christian environment. Our founding principles are based on love, compassion and respect for all.

Our school has a long history in the community. Having been established in 1817, we recently celebrated our 200th anniversary! We are firmly rooted in our Christian ethos, aiming to celebrate the fullness of God in all of our pupils as we grow together to ‘Believe, Achieve and Succeed’. Our SIAMs inspection, in March 2019, recognised that worship is the heartbeat of our school. Worship and prayer is integral to our daily life at Ashford, and in all that we do, centred in the Bible and the life and teachings of Jesus.
