A very warm welcome to Avonmouth C.E. Primary School.

Avonmouth Church of England Primary school is situated in Avonmouth village and welcomes children from nursery through to year six. We are extremely proud of our school and are delighted to celebrate the successes and achievements of all members of our school community.

We have high expectations for all the children in our school, both academically and behaviourally, and strive to meet the needs of every child.

Our school vision is: ‘By the river, we prosper’ which we feel encapsulates what the staff, children, governors and parents work towards in our school. We work especially hard to make sure that children feel safe and happy at our school and provide children with a stimulating and exciting environment in which to learn. Our Foundation Stage is an excellent and exciting place for children to begin their learning journey.

As a Church of England School, we have a framework of Christian values which underpin all we do in school. These values are: thankfulness, friendship, endurance, peace, forgiveness, trust, wisdom, compassion, justice and hope. We also have strong links with St Andrew’s church.
