'We are limitless'

Bandon Hill Primary School is continuing to expand as a 6 form entry school. The original part of the school, Bandon Hill - Meadow Field, remains unchanged and a 4 form expansion is taking place at the Bandon Hill - Wood Field site. Bandon Hill in its entirety is a very happy school in which all children feel secure and confident.

Children are encouraged to develop positive attitudes towards learning and to achieve high standards in all that they do. The original Bandon Hill Primary School in Sandy Lane South is now known as Bandon Hill Primary – Meadow Field and has 2 forms of entry. The expansion of Bandon Hill on Stanley Park Road is known as Bandon Hill Primary – Wood Field and has 4 forms of entry.

Our goal is to help all children develop lively enquiring minds, good personal relationships and the knowledge and skills for the ever changing technological and multi-cultural world in which we live. To achieve this, self-discipline and tolerance of others, their cultures and races are encouraged at all times. We recognise the importance of good home – school links and of the partnership with parents. Bandon Hill will help to lay the foundations for each pupil’s preparation for eventual adulthood. My team and I would be delighted to show any interested parents around each of our schools.

The Greenshaw Learning Trust is building a ‘family’ of like-minded schools, that collaborate to provide mutual support, share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst retaining and developing their own distinctive character. The Greenshaw Learning Trust provides an effective structure to ensure schools achieve real benefits from school-to-school collaboration and receive the support they need. Our culture of trust and openness fosters mutual support and continual improvement.

Each school in the Trust is led by its own leadership team and local governing body, who have the backing of the Trust to help them achieve their objectives for their school. Mission statement We are ambitious for our schools and their students. We believe that there is no ceiling on what can be achieved by anyone, regardless of their circumstances or background. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, giving every young person the opportunity to fulfil their potential now, and in the future.
