At Cavendish Community Primary School we believe that all children (regardless of ability or background) should experience an engaging, purposeful, rich curriculum that will motivate and inspire them so they love to learn and achieve together. The aim of all who work at and with Cavendish is that we will be an outstanding school because we expect and get the best from our pupils whilst also providing excellent care for their well-being. Our children have the right to enjoy a deep and rich primary education that equips them with the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to make a successful transition to their chosen high school, and we want them to leave with high levels of motivation always to give of their best. They will have experience of contributing positively to their local community, and will have a growing understanding of the national and global communities to which they also belong. They will not tolerate discrimination, and will have good self care and self discipline skills that enable them to stay safe and behave courteously and sensibly. They will have a strong sense of moral purpose. They will be confident to seek help and advice when necessary. During their time here, they will become ‘brilliant citizens’.
