I feel privileged to be the new Headteacher and relish the opportunity to support our staff, community and Governing Body to continue to offer high performance learning and enrichment opportunities for our young people.

With excellent collaboration between home and school and the dedication and innovation our staff, we will consistently and positively guide each student be the best possible version of themselves. Cefn Saeson is a popular and well established school whose aim is to expect and celebrate our many successes. We are very proud to serve the communities of Cimla, Tonmawr, Pontrhydyfen, Tonna and parts of Neath, and we welcome preferred placements from outside our main catchment area.

Our success is attributed to many factors, but in particular the hard work of dedicated staff and pupils, and the excellent relationships fostered by all concerned. A regular programme of parents’ evenings, open evenings enhance our close partnership with our wider community. A group of our More Able and Talented pupils are busily producing the first of our Video Blogs so they can tell you about the many things we do.
