Welcome

"Be strong and courageous" - Joshua 1:9

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Colnbrook Church of England Primary School. The school has a dedicated team of staff and governors who work with parents to provide our children with a high-quality primary education.

Colnbrook Primary is a one form entry Primary and Nursery School that serves our local community. We are a Church of England school with a clear Christian vision and ethos, but we welcome families from all faiths and cultures and celebrate the rich diversity we have within our school. The school is part of the Slough and East Berkshire Church of England Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT) and we have strong links within the local community including with St Thomas' Church and Heathrow Airport.

We encourage children to “be strong and courageous” in everything they do. Through our school vision and Christian values, we teach, encourage and enable children to be successful. We are keen to work collaboratively with parents to bring out the very best in every child.

I hope you find our website informative, but why not come and see us in action? You can arrange an appointment to visit us through the school office and we would be happy to show you around.

I look forward to welcoming you here soon.

SEBMAT

Slough and East Berkshire Church of England Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT) has been established to form a group of schools that can support each other to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people in Slough and the nearby areas. This group of schools may include primary and secondary phases and may have a Church of England link but this would not prevent non Church of England schools joining the Trust. SEBMAT will support schools to achieve educational excellence through robust governance, effective leadership and management, coaching, sharing good practice and helping to secure good value for money.

There are currently five schools in the MAT:

- Slough & Eton Business and Enterprise College

- Colnbrook C of E Primary School

- Eton Porny C of E First School

- Lynch Hill Primary Academy

- Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy

Colnbrook C of E Primary School became an academy and part of the Slough and East Berkshire C of E Multi Academy Trust (SEBMAT) in June 2013.

Our Vision and Values

Our Vision

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9

When Joshua became leader of the Israelites and took over from Moses; he had big shoes to fill. Joshua became a leader with huge challenges to overcome. God gave Joshua instruction and advice which led him to success. Our community at Colnbrook School believes in the advice that was given to Joshua and has adopted it as our own vision to develop belief and achievement for ourselves and our community.

Our Vision Statement

At Colnbrook we want to grow young people who believe in themselves so they are confident and courageous and not discouraged from their path. They are resilient when faced with challenge. We want our pupils to believe in each other and to feel supported; never alone on their journey.

Our pupils will have the strength of character to set themselves aspirational goals in learning and life. They will achieve their best and create their own inspirational story and memories.

Our Christian Values

These values are at the heart of everything we do here at Colnbrook Church of England Primary School. They reflect the qualities that staff and governors want the children to develop and display in all that they do.

- Having aspiration

- Demonstrating resilience

- Showing respect

- Taking responsibility

- Caring for the community

- Showing compassion
