About Us

"Nurturing belief and the joy of learning"

At Cranleigh C of E Primary School, we incorporate our Christian values into all that we do.

  • friendship
  • hope
  • forgiveness
  • thankfulness
  • compassion
  • endurance

These values are integrated within our curriculum to equip our learners for an ever changing world. By acknowledging all aspects of every child’s development we can support them to gain confidence and enthusiasm for learning within an appropriate setting for risk-taking. The learning, achievements, attitudes and well-being of every member of our community is considered and celebrated.

We also hold four key attributes that we believe are key within our school.

Family

The idea of Family is central to who we are at Cranleigh C of E Primary:

  • All are welcome and all contribute something unique to our community.
  • We strive to make everyone feel safe and secure.
  • In a family we can take risks knowing that we succeed and fail together.

Church

As a Church of England School:

  • We value every person as made in God’s image.
  • We seek to live out our Christian Values in all we do.
  • We are at the heart of our local church community.
  • Family, Nurture and Respect flow out from our Christian Ethos.

Nurture

We want everyone in the family of Cranleigh C of E Primary to grow:

  • Academic development and excellence is always our goal.
  • Joy, awe, and wonder in learning is key to our approach.
  • Strong pastoral care underpins our aim for holistic growth: valuing body, mind and spirit.

Respect

Respect is at the heart of our relationships:

  • As all are made in God’s image so all are worthy of respect
  • Children are encouraged to respect themselves, their peers, and their teachers.
  • We also seek to respect our environment by loving creation and our school site.
