Cross Farm School is a popular, award winning and successful Infant School with 150 pupils on roll, situated in the village of Frimley Green. Cross Farm Infant School is a happy, friendly and forward thinking school where children between the ages of four 4 and 7 continue their exciting journey of discovery. Our successful and lively  infant school encourages children and adults to strive for excellence in all aspects of school life.

We have an open-door policy and believe strongly in developing the partnership between home and school. We know that the most powerful learning takes place when children feel safe, understood, valued and included. We strive to get to know our children as individuals and wherever possible to use their interests and talents within the curriculum.

We have the highest expectations for children’s achievement. We monitor progress rigorously and have a skilled team who manage intervention programmes should there be a gap in progress. We promote enjoyment and enthusiasm for mathematics, reading and writing. We are very focused on developing outstanding, creative writers and readers who choose to read for pleasure. We encourage all pupils and our staff to strive for excellence in all aspects of school life. We promote high standards of courtesy and behaviour for learning. We are committed to developing the whole child as our part in helping you, prepare them, for their whole life. Cross Farm’s design helps create a communal learning environment. Our youngest children work together in a dedicated environment; they have an environmental pond area, a garden, a campsite, climbing equipment, a “quiet” class base and a “collaborative” class base. They are known as the Explorers.

Our KS1 children have 4 class bases, a large main shared area and access to outdoor learning through their class doors. We have a large hall, a wildlife area, a library, excellent IT facilities and a range of outdoor play equipment. We are passionate about reading, art, performance and music; our Year 2 children learn to play the ukulele and we have a KS1 choir.

The Kite Academy Trust was formed in October 2015 with five local schools coming together to provide the very best for all of our children, families and staff.
