We set high standards for our pupils and staff and aim to have every child leave us equipped with the educational and social skills that they need to thrive in secondary school and beyond.

We are proud of our academic results and are always striving for improvement but also take care to nurture and stimulate our children – we want every child to leave Derwentwater Primary School with happy memories of their early education as well as the skills they need to succeed in life.
