Esher Church School Careers Site Eteach (7984)

As a Church of England School, we work closely with Christ Church, Esher and the other local churches to provide an additional dimension to our children’s education. Our core values reflect this commitment to developing each individual child in a culture based on respect, trust, kindness and care for one another. In addition, our framework of Christian Values underpins our commitment to work with the children on exploring these values as a way of strengthening their spiritual and moral development.

The Governors play an important role in developing the school and are committed to improving the school’s facilities and learning environment. Recent projects include the Eden Building, a dedicated space for music, creativity and the performing arts and a brand new ICT network and computers for every class. More projects including a new playground and play equipment is planned for the summer of 2011. So how does this emphasis on adding value and enriching the curriculum impact on the standards that our children achieve? Our SATs results are consistently high and place us as one of the top performing primary schools in Surrey for attainment at the end of Key Stage 1 and 2. Our ‘value-added’ scores also demonstrate the excellent progress made by our pupils from their starting point with us.
