I am very pleased to welcome you to our school website. I hope that you enjoy looking around the site and that it helps you feel connected to our wonderful school. We are a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all our pupils. We have around 250 children from Nursery to Year 6. We strive for excellent teaching and to provide our children with exciting, engaging and creative learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom. Our vision is simple: ‘Together we Excel’. In our happy and caring school we continually strive to provide an exciting, relevant and challenging curriculum. This includes events such as whole school theme weeks, Excel afternoons, residential, trips and regular visitors to school. Alongside our breakfast and after-school clubs we also offer a variety of activities to support families and the well-being of our pupils. We believe that a child leaving our school should be literally, numerically and digitally competent and have the skills needed to take any career path they choose. That means instilling in them not only a love of learning but also the skills to be persistent, independent, and communicative. Add to that a sense of respect for themselves and others, a strong capacity to reason and problem solve, wonderful creative and sporting experiences and we believe that children leaving us will have the highest aspirations for themselves and will believe that anything is possible for themselves.
