About Us

Grange Junior School is a developing junior school situated in Stratton St Margaret. We strive to offer our pupils a knowledge-engaging curriculum in a positive and nurturing environment.

At Grange Juniors, we place children at the centre of all we do, and each child is valued and treated as an individual. Our main expectations for the children, staff, and families is very straightforward - be safe, be kind, and be smart. If these three simple principles are followed, children will be happy and successful.

Our Vision and Values

Our Vision & Values

Grange Junior School’s vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident citizens. We encourage children to develop personal qualities, such as responsibility, self-discipline, self-esteem, and co-operation, thus equipping them for life in the future. Learning is fully supported to ensure they are included in all aspects of school life.

Our School Mission

At Grange Junior School, we aim to provide your child with a broad and balanced education, fulfilling their needs in a stimulating and caring environment. Children, staff, and parents work actively in partnership to enable all children to realise their potential, especially in the key areas of literacy, numeracy, science, and ICT. Our school also aims to help children develop as people, secure in knowing who they are and what they want from life.

Our teaching philosophy is simple: we aim to combine the best of tried-and-tested methodology with new and innovative ways of teaching.

The White Horse Federation

The White Horse Federation, made in Swindon, founded in 2012

The White Horse Federation is a Multi Academy Trust of primary schools, secondary and special schools. The federation grew from a passion to be collaborative in providing a first class education to a wide range of children so that each one could more fully understand what they were capable of, what talents they had and to strive for excellence in themselves in order to succeed in the next phase of their education and in the world of work.

At its heart is a belief that we want to develop the type of schools that we would be proud to send our own children to. We do this with a relentless drive for academic excellence blended with a shared moral purpose and shared values but also with an awful lot of fun and happiness in our schools. We genuinely believe in partnership working with our schools, the pupils and their parents and the wider community each serves to create the best possible outcomes for our children.

We also believe that our colleagues are among the finest in the country and we are proud to empower them through support, training and career opportunities. With such outstanding staff we are able to ensure every student achieves all that they are capable of and more, regardless of background, culture, heritage or ability.
