Grayswood Church of England Primary school is an outstanding school situated in the idyllic setting of Grayswood, a lovely rural village with mature trees and greenery nestled in the Surrey Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The school sits adjacent to National Trust land with views across to our local church, village hall and children's play park. The main building was built in 1904 and has warm, welcoming classrooms with large windows that let in plenty of light. The new building, completed in 2016, houses state of the art facilities including a library, two dedicated classrooms, further teaching areas and a large hall, all with pleasant outlooks over the surrounding countryside and school grounds. Closely involved with the local church and community, Grayswood School offers the perfect environment within which to become part of something very valuable and special.

We provide Forest School for all children so that they can develop their confidence and self-esteem in an outdoor environment amongst local trees and woodlands. By working together collaboratively, cooperating, team-building and improving their awareness of the natural environment, Forest School is popular with children, parents and teachers alike. Grayswood Church, completed in 1901, with which the school has very strong links offers a truly fine milieu for the children to have festivals and other special assemblies and activities. Grayswood provides a happy, family atmosphere in a Christian community which enables all children to learn in a safe, stimulating environment. We have very big and bright classrooms as well as a number of other teaching areas. New technology is a focus for our school; projectors, interactive iPads, whiteboards, class computers are widely available throughout the school as well as wireless network access. All classes also have access to outdoor learning and we provide a variety of external activities from Forest School and Adventure Club to a range of sports including football, badminton and fencing.
