Meet our Executive Headteacher

"I am delighted to welcome you to Hareclive E-ACT Academy. A happy and vibrant school located in the heart of Hartcliffe, Bristol. We believe that every child should feel a sense of belonging to our school community and enjoy their learning. To achieve this, we work in close collaboration with our families.

It is our aim that all our children should become confident and resilient young people, assured in their strengths, and prepared to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing future. To achieve this we offer an academic curriculum that strives to expose all pupils to the richness of education, allowing them to experience a diversity of subjects during their time with us. This exposure allows individuals to discover their passions setting them on a path to future learning and life beyond education.

Alongside academic endeavours we strongly promote characteristics such as respect, resilience and responsibility-necessary life skills that allow our pupils to continue to flourish whatever challenges life may bring to their door. We achieve this through a strong programme of extra-curricular activities including, but not limited to, sailing, sports clubs, team competitions and the arts.

Hareclive E-ACT is a proud member of the successful E-ACT network of schools. A UK leading Trust that gives us access to outstanding support and guidance and a sense of collective belonging as our schools regularly come together to share practise and celebrate events."

Our Ethos and Values

Hareclive E-ACT Academy’s ethos reflects its commitment to providing an outstanding education for all of its pupils by ensuring that they are the centre of all that we do.

Our academy mission statement ‘A Place To Grow’ provides the foundation for everything that we do ensuring that all children grow to their full potential. This mission statement is the product of a collaborative effort between pupils, parents and staff.

We commit to and celebrate the E-ACT values of showing team spirit, thinking big and doing the right thing.

Think Big

For themselves and for the world around them by thinking beyond the four walls of their academy, and having the belief that anything they aspire to achieve is possible through hard work.

DO THE RIGHT THING

In all that they do by carefully thinking through their decisions, even when it means doing something that’s hard or takes a lot of time.

SHOW TEAM SPIRIT

By supporting one another, and knowing that by working together great things can be achieved.

We are committed to providing a strong and positive education for all of our pupils by putting them at the core of all we do. Working collaboratively with pupils, parents and staff, our mission is to allow all children to reach their full potential.
