Holmesdale Infant School is a successful and popular school where everyone works hard to ensure that the children are safe, secure and part of a friendly and caring community. Having confidence in a school comes from knowing and understanding what is happening within it. If you join our community, I hope that you will extend your knowledge through contact with me, members of my staff and governors and take advantage of the occasions to meet staff informally and formally as well as enjoying the wide range of social events organised by our very active Parent Staff Association (PSA).

Parental involvement is really welcomed at our school. It is important that mutual understanding and trust should be the basis of our shared responsibility for the care and education of your child. I am very proud of our school and our success in providing a high quality learning environment for children so they can thrive as individuals both academically and socially. For those of you who are new to Holmesdale Infant and Nursery School we are:

• A four-form entry Infant school in Reigate. We use the International primary Curriculum  in Key stage one and have an outstanding Foundation stage which is recognised throughout  Surrey.
• Employing outstanding, experienced teachers and teaching assistants.
• We are a Teaching school and are part of SESTA (South East Surrey Teaching Alliance). This  a unique group of cross –phase schools, committed to developing and  training all our staff.
• Committed to supporting our staff in achieving a good work /life balance.
• Establishing a new Multi Academy Trust in Reigate in partnership with 5 other local schools, providing opportunity for improved teaching and learning and career development opportunities.

• Providing regular networking opportunities across local schools, to share insight and best practice. This will develop further with the formation of the MAT.

• Based just off the M25 motorway, and within ¼ mile of Reigate Railway Station. We have a large car park with parking for all staff.
