Successes of the School In our recent Ofsted Inspection we were judged to have improved significantly from our last inspection. The school has moved out of the failing category ‘Notice to Improve’ to ‘Requires Improvement’ and we have now set our sights upon reaching the ‘Good’ category on our journey to ‘Outstanding’. Merrydale Junior school achieved Healthy school status in 2008 and has maintained this ever since.
We were also awarded the ABC anti-bullying award in July 2013.
